Tucked between Amsterdam and Columbus in the Upper West Side, this hidden gem is a no-brainer for your Thai craving. White table cloths and live jazz mixed with friendly staff and comfortable decor gives and instant sense of familiarity. It would be easy to make this a regular stop. Take out & delivery available.
Mussels with Tom Yum broth
As good as it sounds. Lemongrass, ginger with hints of chili. I could eat this every day.
Pad Khing (Ginger)
With vegetables and tofu, or a variety of meat choices, the ingredients are sautéed in a delicious ginger soy sauce, rice on the side.

Some argue it’s the best Lao/Thai/Vietnamese restaurant in Madison. Nestled in the far end of Willy St, Ha Long Bay is a traditional Southeast Asian restaurant. The staff is friendly and efficient. I usually call head and do take-out so I don’t have to wait if it’s crowded. Usually a take-out order takes 20 minutes.
Red curry sauce with zucchini, acorn squash, butternut squash, Thai eggplant, bamboo, and basil. Yum.
V6 Cà Tím Xào Dòn
My second favorite dish- Lightly battered eggplant in our house sesame sauce; served on bed of stir-fried green vegetables. Just try it.
